Sizzling Hot August!

We are sizzling HOT this month!  There are more one-of-a-kind items in here than we have had in a long time!  There are great upholstered pieces everywhere - there are tons of crisp whites and warm creams and beautiful grays - and there is COLOR - and I mean COLOR!!!  The kinds of colors that look HOT in the summer but take you right into the cooler fall months.  And so many totally re-purposed items - like this great bolt bin for instance.  This little black bin came out of an abandoned blacksmith's shop in North Dakota.  Took hours and hours to clean up - but it was worth every minute!  And how about that gorgeous dresser?
An unusual metal incubator turned side table.  The metal ones don't surface very often and when they do - they disappear quickly!  Did you know that Ki of Junk Bonanza has one in her living room?  The label on this one reads "Old Trusty" and has beautiful graphics of a dog.
This beautiful Buckeye wood incubator is the perfect coffee table!  With the addition of old stove legs it is just the right height - and has plenty of inside storage for all of you magazines!
Here you can see them together.
How about a great pop of RED in your dining room?  This buffet would be a great addition to any room - could be great in a kitchen too as a work space - it is nice and tall.
There are some of the prettiest lamps in the shop this month.  I love this pair - they are so elegant!
Loving this small size buffet/sideboard!  Perfect for smaller rooms!
Gail is with us this month - and you know that her upholstered pieces are to die for - and fly right out the door!
Loving this brown chair!  The fabric is wonderful and the chair is so comfy.
 Isn't this one a beauty?
A one time dresser turned into a bar!  Features a stainless "sink" for ice and bottles - and a wine glass rack on the lower level.  The black and silver scheme is so classy too!
How cozy would this piece be in an entry way?  Or at the end of a bed?  It's petite size makes it a good fit anywhere!
 Nice and compact center island.
This vintage postal sorting station is sturdy and fun!  I love that the cubbies are big enough to be useful - stack plates and bowls and glasses or display your collections.
The color on this antique armoire/cupboard is phenomenal!  So warm.
Sandy has pops of great color all thru out her space.  And tons of fabrics.  I am in love with her spot this month - I think every single thing in it has my fingerprints on it!
One of the most glamorous mirrors I have ever seen - your mouth will drop open!  I can imagine it anywhere - and everywhere!  My house tends to be full of rich colors and primitives and rust - but I think the juxtaposition of this glam with all of that would be utterly fantastic!
There are great display hutches and china cabinets this month too.  Love the updated yet traditional look of this one!

  1. Do you remember what your wooden incubator sold for? We have run across a couple, but have NO information on them, and can't find anything online. We're trying to figure out the value!
